SWEDEN:

Sweden is the largest country in Northern Europe, the third in the EU, and the fifth in Europe by area. The capital is Stockholm, the currency is "Krona" (SEK), and the language is "Swedish".

STOCKHOLM:

Stockholm, the capital and largest city of Sweden, is the biggest urban area in the Nordic countries. It stretches across fourteen islands. It's a modern hub for tech, fashion, music, film, design, gaming, and food, offering unique experiences and flavors. In summer, you can enjoy nature and museums. There is a beautifully built Gamlastan area. The picturesque Old Town is home to Stockholm’s most impressive architecture including the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Nobel Museum and historic Storkyrkan cathedral.

Top Attractions in Stockholm:

  • Skansen - It is the oldest open-air museum and zoo located on the island Djurgarden. The term “ Skansen” has become a generic term referring to other open-air museums and collections of historic structures. Originally a part of the Nordic Museum, it became an independent organization in 1963.

  • ABBA Museum - The museum is a Swedish interactive exhibition about the pop band ABBA that opened in May 2013. The songs are defined by the combination of their unique harmonies and uplifting song writing. Most importantly, they showcase their original production and recording processes.

  • Royal Palace - The Royal Palace or the Stockholm Palace(Swedish: Stockholms Slott or Kungliga Slottet) is the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch. The Palace is in Stadsholmen, in Gamla Stan. The offices of the King, other members of the Swedish royal family, and the Royal Court of Sweden are here. It is used for representative purposes by the King while performing his duties as the head of the State.

  • Östermalm Saluhall - Historic food hall in a charming old building. It provides a selection of fresh local produce and specialty food amid a lively market atmosphere with multiple dining options.

  • Vasa Museum - The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the seabed, the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. The Vasa is the world’s only preserved 17th century ship [CITATION NEEDED].Image

  • Sodermalm - One of the most densely populated areas in Scandinavia. It is a residential district in Stockholm’s archipelago that boasts some attractive architectural sights and will offer you a window into the life of Stockholm.
  • Abisko National Park - A classic region in the heart of Lapland’s alpine world majestic mountains frame the beautiful Abiskodalen valley with its flowering alpine meadows, picturesque rapids and Scandinavia’s largest alpine lake. During summer, you can experience daylight and night and see the midnight sun.
  • Kiruna - It is the northernmost city in Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland. The city was originally built in the 1890s to serve the Kiruna Mine.

  • Ice Hotel - The hotel is in northern Sweden, about 17 kilometers (11 miles) from Kiruna. It is rebuilt each year from December to April with snow and ice in the village of Jukkasjärvi and the world’s first Ice hotel. The first opening in 1990. The chairs and beds are also constructed from snow and ice blocks taken from the nearby Torne River. Artists are invited to create different rooms and decorations made of ice. The structure remains below freezing point, around-5 degrees Celsius. 


  • Gotland - It is a paradise island with a characterful wilderness and a coastline punctuated with sandy beaches and sculptural sea stacks. Historically significant, its main town Visby is a Viking-era wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In my blog Let's Travel.. U will get the information about the different places to tour and travel the different places.. Today I m writing about the place of  'PHULBANI'...

PHULBANI..
                         
Phulbani is a municipality and administrative headquaters of Kandhamal district.. It is named after the lady 'Phulardei' who was sacrificed by the local inhabitants as an act of religious ritual to mother earth. Phulbani has a variety of flora and fauna. It is surrounded by hills and has a lot of small and big waterfalls around it. Like, Katramal Waterfall, Putudi Waterfall, Pakdhajhar Waterfall, Urmagarh Waterfall. Phulbani is surrounded by river Salunki. It is associated with the virgin forests and peaceful tribal people. Phulbani also has a Barrack for Odisha Reserve Police near river salunki.
Phulbani also has a farm for research activities of Odisha Horticulture and research on silk moths. This farm has varied collection of Guava plants found rarely. It is famous for the production of good quality turmeric.

KATRAMAL WATERFALL:


Katramal Waterfall is the most spectacular of the lot its situated at a distance of about 31km from phulbani.

PUTUDI WATERFALL:

  

Putudi Waterfall, a hot spot among the local people is situated at a distance about 18km from phulbani.

PAKDHAJHAR WATERFALL:

Pakdhajhar Waterfall is situated at a distance of about 3-5kmfrom sudrukumpa, a small village which is situated about 19km from the main city of phulbani.

URMAGARH WATERFALL:

Urmagarh Waterfall which is close to 21km from phulbani.

The people of kandhamal celebrate many religious festivals from their tribal culture as well as many odia festivals. The Danda Nacha is celebrated in the district mainly by the kondh tribals, following their traditional religion. They observe this for thirteen days in the Hindu month of chaitra. People go fasting for all the thirteen days who viewed for the particular boon or for grace from the goddess kaali. The festival starts on the first of april and closes on the thirteen days. The closing ceremony is called Meru.

The major Hindu festivals like Holi, Diwali, Rakshabandan, Shivratri, Ram Navami and Janmastami are celebrated by kondhs and other Hindus in the district with equal fervor. The Hindu month of Kartik is considered sacred by tribal and hindu, people observe fasting and away from non -vegetarian food and alcohol. Now a days people celebrate the Savan (Shravan) month by offering their prayers to Shiva and carrying water to shiv temples walking barefoot. During  Rakshabandhan, village children organize a game called Gamhadiyan, where a small earthen pedestal is created and a string containing toffes is hung over it. Children jump over the pedestal to pluck and win the goodies from the string.

PURI :
Puri, the spiritual capital of odisha is considered as a major fulcrum of pilgrimage in India. As a tourism centre , Puri is famous for its historic antiquities, religious sanctuaries, architectural grandeur, seascape beauty and moderate climate . It is becoming a major visiting destination from both tourism and religious point of view. The city is successfully entered its name in world map of tourism for its ancient Kalinga architecture and as a fourth Dham Of Hindus. This hub of attractions include unique monuments like those of Lord Jaganath Temple, the Sun God at konark are famous in the world. It has the Chilika Lake one of the largest brackish water lakes in India that holds a seascape beauty. It offers an ideal resort for birds which migrate from different continent. The climate of Puri and its safe beaches are welcoming world over the guests through out the year.

RAGHURAJPUR :
Raghurajpur is 12km from puri on Bhubneswar road in 203 National Highway, near Chandanpur. Raghurajpur is the artisans village, is a living museum itself. Every household has a painter, the age-old tradition paintings on canvas, tassar and other varities like Pattachitra, papiermache, masks, stone, idols, sculptures, wooden idils and toys etc. The village ambience is heart touching. This is a Heritage Craft Village of Odisha.

SAKHIGOPAL :
Sakhigopal is 17km from puri, ahead of chandanpur, Sakhigopal is also known as Sakhigopal Satyabadi is famous for the shrine of Lord Krishna. Sakhigopal is also important as it was one of the educational centres during the 19th and 20th centuries. This is for those visitors who are interested in temples and rural culture. The place like Biswanath Hill for Biswanath Shiva, which is on the top of the Hill, near Delanga is 10km away from Sakhigopal.

PIPILI :
Pipili is famous for its applique work and decorated with the bright colors. The varieties like umbrellas, lamps shades, wall cloths, table covers, sofa covers, children cloths, bed covers etc. These are prepared by skilled craft persons, perhaps, a remnant of Mughal days. People love toe see the varieties they even like to purchase the handicrafts.

KONARK :
From pure, we can visit the World Heritage Monument-- Konark Temple, 35km on the Marine Drive. On the way, there are few scenic spots with Temple, Beleswar and Ramachandi. On approaching Konark, we can see the beauty of the sea at Chandrabhaga, which is regarded as Tirtha also. Here, sunrise is very beautiful and enchanting. Since, Ancient times Konark is celebrating the center for Sun worship. Konark as ArkaKshetra finds in Sambha Puran.

SATAPADA ON CHILIKA :
Satapada is a lake side resort located on the southeast side of Chilika lagoon which is the largest brackish water lake in Asia. It is 50km from Puri, on the road leading to land's end you find satapada. A tiny cluster of seven islands 'sata' means seven and 'pada' means village. This is where the lake meets the Bay Of Bengal. Chilika covers an area of 1,165 square kilometers over the district of Puri, Khurda and Ganjam. Chilika is home to more than a hundred species of fish and dolphins. With the onset of winter, birds begin to arrive in Chilika.

JAGANNATH RATH YATRA :
In Rath Yatra the temple images are carried out of the temple to the street in three huge Chariots in the name of Nandighosha for Lord Jagannath, Taladhwaja for Lord Balabhadra and Darpadolana for Goddess Subhadra. The Chariots are pulled by devotees till the Gundicha temple which is believed as Lord's aunt house and three lords stays there for nine days. Nine days later, the journey is repeated in the opposite direction is called Bahuda Yatra .

Srinagar :

Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian State of "Jammu and Kashmir ".It lies in the Kashmir valley on the banks of the jhelum river, a tributary of the  Indus, and Dal and Anchar Lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats.  

Famous in Srinagar:

                         The old city is the famous for its beautiful Dal lake and fabulous kashmiri cuisine and mountains. Srinagar is one of the most sought after destination..known for its famous Mughal gardens and house boats.

Dal Lake :
 Dal Lake is a jewel of srinagar , the beauty of this pristine lake, spread over 26 square kilometers, only grows around every corner. 

Mughal Gardens :
Mughal gardens which have truly the change the faces of the Mughal Empire is one of the most popular and the visited tourist attraction of Srinagar. The natural beauty of the place filled with lush green grass and the scented flowers is a stress-butter and the pleasing to the eyes. The tourists who come here take long scrolls in the garden or sit and admire the beauty of the place. 

Nishat Bagh :
  It is a beauty enhanced by the well manicured landscapes,  long avenues of chinnar and trees , rare flowering plants, 12 terraces and several bubbling fountains that's cover the whole expanses of the garden. 

Shikara Ride : 
Shikara ride is a place for relaxing and memorable place in srinagar. Taking the ride across the scienic Dal Lake at the backdrop of the majestic slow clad of Himalay's is an experience and enjoyable. 

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden : 
The lines of tulip cultivation in every possible colour with a backdrop of the majestic Zabarwan Hills. It is a beautiful place there are cultivated the different colours of flowers. It is best and most beautiful place with lot of flowers in Srinagar .

Char Chinar :
Char Chinar is a beautiful place ; Dal Lake is marked by an island which houses ancient and beautiful chinar trees. The chinar view is amazing place in the srinagar.

Apple Orchards : 
Srinagar is counted among the most beautiful places of India owing to its lush green orchards, free flowing and paradisal locales. 80% of countries apple supplies are managed from srinagar. The full of green trees sprinkled with shiny red apples . 

Floating Vegetable Market :
 Srinagar is also popular for its floating vegetable markets where vegetable and fruits are sold around in the waters on the shikara. It is an interesting place to visit for sightseeing and one of the most unique things to do in srinagar, these markets are run at the corner of the Dal lake and besides the regular traders and buyers, they attract a lot of tourists. 

House Boat :
 Staying in a houseboat amidst pristine waters of the Dal Lake, is one of the most essential things to do in Srinagar. Made in wood and adorned in a typical Kashmir style decor, the houseboats are a perfect way to exprience the local life in the luxurious way and enjoy in the houseboat.

                     Now the time for "Shimla"

Shimla: 
Shimla is the capital of the Northern Indian State of "Himachal Pradesh";in the himalayan foot hills. In shimla u will get the opportunity to spent the quality time close to mother nature and relaxing. 
                 It is situated at a height of 2200m, shimla is the capital and the 
largest city of Himachal Pradesh in India.
Shimla is an very popular hill station and beautiful hills. There are different places like "The Ridge; Jakhoo Hill; Mall Road; Kalka-shimla Railway; Christ Church; Summer Hill; Kufri"

The Ridge :
 At the center of the town is The Shimla Ridge, which offers the spectacular views of the mountain peaks of the land. The marvellous view of snow-clad mountain ranges . The Ridge is in a open space that runs from east to west along with the mall,which is the another famous place. 

Jakhoo Hill :

Jakhoo Hill is situated 2km from shimla it is the highest peak in the entire hill station and snow capped Himalayan Mountains. The 8000ft the jakhoo hill is a famous tourist attraction visited by the nature lovers and pilgrims. In the jakhoo hill; there is a large statue of Hanuman, it is located at an altitude of 8500ft  above sea level, the 108ft tall statue has sensor to drive away the bird. 

Mall Road :

It is located below the Ridge,Mall Road offers a glimpse of shimla in a nutshell. Mall Road is filled with many shops,cafes,resturants,book shops,and tourists attraction. In Mall Road there is an scandal point and  Kali Bari temple. 

Kalka Shimla Railway :
  

Kalka-Shimla Railway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Mountain Railways of India. It runs from Kalka(a town in Haryana) to shimla. It stops through many tourist places like Summer Hill, Solan and many more.

Christ Church :
   

Christ Church has been an irreplaceable part of shimla's scenery. It took 3years to complete architectural marve. It is famous for religion, photography, architecture. It houses the largest pipe organ in India and shoot the bollywood movie like 3 Idiots and Black. 

Summer Hill :


A quaint town located on the outskirts of shimla. Summer Hill also called as Potter's Hill. The hill is a part of a cluster of seven hills, which form shimla and breathtaking sights from the top. 

Kufri :
 

Kufri is located 17kms away from the shimla. The hill station delights nature lovers and adventurers. Visiting Shimla because the stunning views and different adventure.

Manali.. 

        Manali is a high altitude himalayan resort town in India's Northern Himanchal Pradesh.It is set on the "Beas River" it is a gateway of skiing in the"Solang Valley"and trekking in the"Parvati Valley".It is also a jumping -off point paragliding,rafting and mountaineering in the"Pir Panjal Mountains".

Famous of manali:
 

Manali is a famous tourist destination in"Himanchal Pradesh"where a lot of tourists swarm to beat the heat in the plainer region."Kullu -Manal"is a home of some special markets are packed with the lots of tourist all the time.

Time to visit : 

         The best time to visit the manali is "October to February " is the winter season and "January "is the best to enjoy the chilly pleasure of snowfall. The temperature drops down below zero degree Celsius. 
               In manali there are different places like "Hidimba Devi Temple; Solang Valley; Manall  Sanctuary;Rafting;Naggar Castle; Mountain Biking ".

Hidimba Devi Temple :


This is an ancient cave temple in manali dedicated to the "Goddess Halima".It was built in 1553 and is comprised of a three -tiered square tower 24 meters high.It is surrounded by a cedar forest in the footfills of the Himalayas;this sanctuary is built on a rock jutting out of the ground. 

Solang Valley:
  Manali is known for its beauty and solang valley is one of the most beautiful places. Solang valley offer breathtaking views of  glaciers and mountain tops and has some of the best skiing slopes.  

Manali Sanctuary :  

In manali sanctuary have an unforgettable experience admist the green pastures and glaciers. In sanctuary there are musk deer,monal and brown bears and snow leopards .

Rafting:

The truly adventurous,rafting in manali is not for the fiant of heart! The Beas River are strongest and rapids it creates thrill seekers dream of white water rafting in Manali. 

Naggar Castle :
Naggar castle is an European and Himalayan cultre come together to produce an incredible palace that once served as the home of Raja Sidh singh. It was built in 1460 and is filled with incredible fireplaces, staircases and stone work and wood work.

Mountain Biking :
 Manali is a place in the world where you can truly mountain bike. In mountain biking enjoy the climate and getting fresh air and the majestic beauty of the mountain .

First; i will give the some information about the berhampur .
Berhampur is also known as the silk city.. In berhampur there are different parks are there many children are going at  the evening time to play.. and many men and women are going for walk and their spending the evening time and they all are enjoying the evening.In berehampur there is an another is gopalpur. 
Gopalpur 
The distance is about 16km from berhampur; the small beach town of gopalpur. In the gopalpur the lighthouse still exists nd blinks at night to guide the ships in the middle of the deep sea with directions to safety . The coconut trees add the charms to the beaches, which are seperated from the blue waters by the sand dunes. Seafood and tender coconut water can be enjoyed at the beach. The best time to visit gopalpur is from September to march . Gopalpur is famous for because there are many olive ridley sea turtles are coming in large number and use the beaches in and around as nesting sites. 
Gopalpur Beach Festival
Gopalpur beach festival ;in this festival many peoples are coming from the different places and enjoying the evening of festival. In beach festival there are many celebrities are coming and different programs are organized and arranging the programs and there are different stalls are there and many people are participating different performance.
